Typical Uses:
RemovALL™ 220 has proven it will effectively lift urethanes, latex, alkyd paints and varnish, as well as most two component epoxy coatings and fusion bonded epoxies from all types of substrates, including steel, aluminum, metal alloys, concrete, and masonry.

Coverage:
Coverage is approximately 40 to 75 sq.ft../ US Gal. (1 to 2.2 sq.m./L) depending on substrate and coating to be removed.

Optimum Temperature:
Surface temperatures should be 65 to 95°F (20 to 32°C). The product performs effectively at lower temperatures - even at 32°F (0°C), but the dwell time increases.

Dwell Time:
The time required for penetration varies according to the type of paint, the thickness of the paint, and the temperature.

Most paint systems require between 2 to 36 hours. RemovALL™ 220 can be left overnight, but do not allow it to dry out.

Equipment & Tools:
This product is engineered for spray or brush application.

Airless sprayers are recommended. Use only airless equipment with chemical resistant packing, such as a Hero 85 SEL or larger pump.

A typical medium size airless sprayer is capable of spraying this product.

Equip the sprayer with a tip size of 0.019 inches or larger.  (Example: a 519 or 425 tip). Other equipment: brushes, rollers, scraper, masking tape, plastic (polyethylene) sheet, pressure washer, electric drill with mixer, empty pails for clean-up, running water, rags.  Roller application should be used only for horizontal surfaces.

Safety Precautions:
Proper safety procedures should be followed at all times while handling the product.  Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for important health / safety information before use.

Consider conducting a small test patch in an inconspicuous area to ensure product performance. This will indicate the time required for project completion, suitability of product for paint and substrate, and most effective removal method.
